Tio2 is a photocatalyst and is used for water purification .
However, Zno is also a photocatalyst can we use it for water purification...?

Expert Answer:
Yes, we can use ZnO for water purification.
They both have large, surface area to volume ratio, for nano and micro particles. TiO2 has the history but ZnO has came into picture much later and is relatively new in the field.
