Expert Answer
Let the three parts be
a-d,a,a+d ( where d>0)
Their sum is 54(given)
So,
3a=54
So,
a=18
Next it's given that the
five times smallest part exceeds the largest by 6
So,
5(a-d)=(a+d)+6
i.e.
4a=6d+6
i.e.
2a=3d+3
Substituting,
a=18,
We get,
36=3d+3
So,
d=11
So, the three required parts of 54 are
7,18,29
