there is a triangle ABC such that p and q are points on sides AB & AC respectively.If PB/AB=QC/AC ,then can this equality be considered under BPT?please explain

Basic proportionality theorem states that:
If a line is drawn parallel to one side of a triangle to intersect other two sides in distinct points, the other two sides are divided in the same ratio.
Suppose we have a triangle ABC, in which PQIIBC intersects other two sides AB and AC at P and Q respectively. Then, AP/PB = AQ/QC.
