The volume of a cube is 64mm cube.Find the length of the cloth required to cover the cube complete .

 We know that,

 
The volume of a Cube = (side)3 
→                      64    = (side)3 
→                      side  = 4 mm
 
The length of the cloth required to cover the cube completely = Total Surface Area of a Cube.
 
We know that,
Total Surface Area of a Cube = 6(side)2 = 6(4)2 = 96 mm2
 
 
Therefore 96 mm2 amount of cloth is required to cover the cube completely.
