DDT or other harmful chemiclas enter through indirect means i.e. through the food we consume.

Example- If DDT is sprayed as weedicide/ pesticide over grass & that grass is grazed by cattle, the DDT would enter in the body of cattle, it will even enter in the milk of that cattle. If we consume the same milk, DDT would enter in our body.
