The two ends of a train moving with uniform acceleration passes a certain point with velocities 6km/hr and 8km/hr respectively.What is the velocity with which the middle point of the train passes the same point?

Initial Velocity = 6 km/hr
Final Velocity = 8 km/hr
v2 = u2+2as
82 = 62+2as
64 = 36+2as
28 = 2as
as = 14 ..........1)
Middle Point = distance = s/2
v2 = u2+2as
v2 = 62+2*a*s/2
v2 = 62+as
Substitute as from equation 1)
v2 = 62+14
v2 = 50
v = 5(2)1/2 km/h
Initial Velocity = 6 km/hr
Final Velocity = 8 km/hr
v2 = u2+2as
82 = 62+2as
64 = 36+2as
28 = 2as
as = 14 ..........1)
Middle Point = distance = s/2
v2 = u2+2as
