The student notes down the weight of a solid in three situations given below. From the given observation the volume of the solid ?? options given below I know the answer But how I don't know??

Dear student
Using,
loss in weight = real weight - upthrust
Upthrust = real weight - loss in weight in water = 70-10 = 60 g
Also upthrust = weight of water displaced = mass of water displaced x g =Volume of water displaced x density of water x g
 
60g = Vw Dw  g
So Vw = 60/Dw =60 cm3
 
So the correct option is a.
