CBSE Class 10 Answered
Virtually true is the story of the adventures of two boys, the narrator and his virtual friend Sebastian Shultz. The two play a computer game in which they help each other be safe. While the boys play, their real world and the world of the game merge in a mysterious way. The boundary between reality and fiction gets blurred and they unconsciously move from one world to the other and back again. The dilemma occurs in the mind of the narrator when he hears about a boy named Sebastian Shultz who met with a serious accident and was in coma for a long time before has miraculous recovery. The narrator is unable to relate the two events and understand how the person he saved in the game materialised in reality. He finally draws the conclusion that at the time of the accident when Sebastian’s head hit the computer, his memory was transferred and saved in the game.
