the speed of a train increases at a constant rate ? from 0 at a constant rate ?.if L be the total distance travelled,then total time taken is?

let time taken be T.
Let the rate of increase in speed be a.
Since the speed only increases and not decreases, thus we can use the formula for velocity and displacement in the same case.
Thus using 2nd equation of motion,
L=1/2aT2
Thus T=(2L/a)1/2
