The sides of a rectangle are in the ratio 7:3 & the area is 758sqcm.Find the sides of the rectangle.

Let the sides be 7x and 3x

The area of a rectangle with length l and breadth b = l*b

So if 7x is taken as the length and 3x as the breadth, we get,

(7x)*(3x)=758

Solve this and you wil get the value of x .

So using that value of x f you can find 7x and 3x , they will be the lengths of the sides of the rectangle.
