the refracive index of a glass  is 1.5. A sphere of this glass  is immersed in water having refractive index as 4/3 .The critical angle for light rays originating within the sphere

For TIR critical angle is given as
Sinθc = refractive index of surrounding/refractive index of material
Sinθc = (4/3)/1.5 = 8/9
So θc = Sin^-1(8/9)
