CBSE Class 12-science Answered

The reactivity of 15 group elements decreases down the group from Arsenic to Bismuth. Why?

When we move down the group in Group 15, the chemical reactivity decreases due to decrease in the electronegativity as atomic number increases.
 
 
Please dont get confused for the term reactivity. It has different meaning for different group. For example potassium's reactivity depends on loosing its valence electrons while flourine's reactivity depends to gaining capability of an electron.
