The position-Time Graph of a body of mass 2kg is attached with the question.What is the impulse on the body at t=0s and t=4s ?

Expert Answer
From graph,
At t=0, u= 0 and v = 3/4 m/s
Thus,
Impulse = m (v-u) = 2 (3/4 - 0)
I (at t = 0) = 1.5 kg m/s
At t= 4s, v= 0 and u= 3/4 m/s
Thus,
impulse = 2(0- 3/4) = -1.5 kg m/s
