When A(5, -1) is reflected in the x-axis then the point of reflection would be A'(5, 1)
When A(5, -1) is reflected in the y-axis then the point of reflection would be A''(-5, -1)
Distance between A' and A'' is given by
A apostrophe A apostrophe apostrophe equals square root of open parentheses 5 plus 5 close parentheses squared plus open parentheses 1 plus 1 close parentheses squared end root equals square root of 100 plus 4 end root equals 2 square root of 26
