The phase difference between two waves, represented by y=10 raised to the power minus 6 sin[100t+(x/50)+0.5]m and y=10 raised to the power minus 6 cos[100t+(x/50)]m, where x is expressed in meter and is expressed in second, is approximately (1)1.07 radian (2)2.07 radian (3)0.5 radian (4)1.5 radian

Expert Answer:

The phase difference can be observed if both the expressions are in either cosin or sin . so after converting both in cosin or sin, one can compare both expressions and the difference between the phase of two could be find out.
