Expert Answer

The perimeter of the rectangle is given as 135 cm

Breadth (b) of the rectangle = 17 cm

Let the length of the rectangle be l cm

So,

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 x (l + b)

135 = 2 x (l + 17) [Swap both sides]

2 x (l + 17) = 135

l + 17 = = 67.5

l = 67.5 - 17

l = 50.5 cm

Thus, the length of the rectangle is 50.5 cm
