The outer and inner diameters of a cylindrical wooden pipe are28cm and 24 cm respectively. Find the mass of pipe of length 35 cm if 1 cu. cm of wood has a mass of 0.6 gm

Expert Answer
Inner radius = 12 cm
Outer radius = 14 cm
Length = 35 cm
Volume of pipe = pi (14^2 - 12^2) x 35 = 5720
Mass of 1 cu cm wood = 0.6 gm
So mass of 5720 cu cm wood = 5720 x 0.6 gm = 3.432 kg
