Volume of a plank = 4 x 5 x 20 = 400 m3
Volume of a pit = 60 x 40 x 12 = 2400 x 12 = 28800 m3
No. of planks that can be stored in a pit = Volume of pit/Volume of a plank
= 28800/400
= 72
