The maximum height attained by a projectile is increased by 5%. Keeping the angle of projection constant, what is the percentage increase in horizontal range?

Relation between range (R) and maximum height (H) is given by

 tan@ = 4H/R    where @ is the angle of projection

 

so to keep @ constant, R should be increases by same amount by which maximum height increases

since H is increased by 5%, R should also be increased by 5% ..
