Given:
Mass of the empty tank = 8 kg
Capacity or volume of tank = 40 litre = 0.04 m3
Because 1L = 0.001 m3
Now, when a liquid of density 700 kg/m3 is filled in the tank then mass of the tank becomes
= mass of empty tank + mass of liquid in the tank
