The magnfication producer by a plane mirror is +1. what does this mean?

Magnification of mirror is defined as m= fraction numerator h e i g h t space o f space i m a g e over denominator h e i g h t space o f space o b j e c t end fraction
Since image and object lie on the same side of the line so according to sign convention both image and object will have same sign and as we know the size of object and size of image remain same.
So if we put the values of height of image and height of object in magnification formula it will come as +1.
