The given pie chart shows the Ankit's family's household expenditure in a month.   i) If the expenditure on food is Rs 300, what is the expenditure on transport?   ii) What percentage of the family's income is spent on power?

i) The angle for food is 120°, the angle for transport is 50°. It is given that Rs 300 were spent on food.

So, the expenditure on transport =  


 

ii) The angle representing Power = 360° - (60° + 50° + 55° + 35° + 120°) = 360° - 320° = 40°

So, the percentage of family's income spent on Power
