Let l, b and h be the length, breadth and heights of almirah.
l = 1 m = 100 cm, b = 60 cm, h = 2 m = 200 cm
Total volume of almirah = l × b× h = 100 x 60 x 200 = 1200000 cm3
Volume of 3 shelves = 3 × 100 × 60 × 4 = 72000 cm3
Hence, space left in almirah = 1200000 - 72000 = 1128000 cm3
Hence, volume of one compartment = 1128000/4 = 282000 cm3
