the difference between the positive integer is 36 the quotient when one integer is divided by other is .4 find the Integer

Let the two positive integers be x and x - 36.

According to the condition,
x / x - 36 = 4
→ x = 4x - 144
→  3x = 144
→  x = 48

Therefore, the required two positive integers are 48 and 12.
