consider triangles AOB,COD

AO/CO=BO/DO...given

now,

angle AOB=angle DOC..Vertically opp angles

so

 triangle AOB similar to triangle COD....SAS rule

angle OAB= angle OCD....corr anglesof similar triangles

so

AD parallel to BC... since alt angles are equal.

ABCD is a trapezium as one pair of opp sides is parallel
