the conductance of 0.1M HCl solution is greater than that of 0.1 NaCl ? Why?

Expert Answer:

Dear Student

The mobility of ions play important role in conductance. When we compare the conductance of NACl and HCl solutions of same concentration, HCl shows greater conductance. The reason is that due to smaller size of H+ ions it has comparetily more mobility than Na+ ions.

We hope that clarifies your query.
