Expert Answer:
let the total number of arrows be X.
Arrows used in cutting the arrows thrown by bhism+killing rath driver+knocking down rath +knocking down flug +knocking down bow of bhism=X/2+6+1+1+1=X/2+9
therfor, arrows left=X-(X/2+9)=(X-18)/2
now given that arrows left=1+4(X)^(1/2)
Equating both, (X-18)/2=1+4(X)^(1/2)
or, (X-18)/2-1=4(X)^(1/2)
or,X-20=8(X)^(1/2)
Squaring both side
X^2-40X+400=64X
or, X^2-104X+400=0
or,X^2-100X-4X+400=0
or, X(X-100)-4(X-100)=0
or,(X-4)(X-100)=0
or X=4 or 100
total number of arrows can not be 4 because arjun used more than that
therefor total number of arrows=100
