Expert Answer
the angles of a triangle are in A.P. (given)
Let us assume the angles be X , X+a , X + 2a
2X = X+ 2a ( given ) ===> X = 2a
X + (X + a )+ (X + 2a) == 180 ( the sum of the angles equal to 180 )
==> 3X + 3a == 180
therefore X + a == 60 === > 2a + a = 60 (substituting X = 2a) ==> 3a= 60
== > a = 20. so substituting X = 2a ==> X = 2 (20) ==> X = 40
the angles are X , X +a , X + 2a == 40 , 60 , 80 degrees
