The angle of elevation of a top of a hill at the foot of the tower is 60* and the angle of elevation of the top of the tower from the foot of the hill is 30*. If the height of the tower is 40m, find the height of the hill.

Let the height of the hill, CD be h m.
Height of the tower, AB = 40 m
In triangle BCD:
Thus, the height of the hill is 120 m.
