Let the upward acceleration be 'a'.
The tension in the string,
T = m ( g + a )
here, T = 48000N , m = 4000kg, g= 9.8 m/s2 ;
By putting these values in the given eqn, the value of upward acceleration can be calculated
Once the value of 'a' is found out , the following eqn can be used to calculate the distance traveled in 3s
s = ut + ( 1/2 ) at2
