Let 10 years ago daughter's age was x years.
Ten years ago, mother was 12 times as old her daughter .
Hence, mother's age was 12x.
Present age of daughter and mother is (x + 10) years and (12x + 10) years respectively.
10 years later daughters and mother's age will be (x + 20) years and (12x + 20) years respectively.
Ten years hence mother will be twice as old as her daughter will be.
Hence,
12x + 20 = 2(x + 20)
12x + 20 = 2x + 40
10x = 20
x = 2
Present age of daughter and mother are 12 years and 34 years respectively.
