The semicircular grassy land on the side of length 40 m will have a radius 20 m.(as 40 becomes the diameter)

So find the area of one semicircle by using the formula

 area of a semicircle of radius r =where r=20

Multiply this value by 4. That will give you the total area to be  turfed in sq meters

Then mulyiply this with 2.50  ( as the rate of turfing is Rs. 2.50 per sq meters)

This will be the final answer.
