State the joules law of heating and describe it's one numerical application.

According to this law, the heat produced in a conductor is given as
 
H = I2Rt
Here, I is the current through the conductor,
        R is the resistance of the conductor, and
        t is the time for which the current flows in the conductor.
 
A conductor having high resistance should heat up more ideally. However, the current in low resistance will be greater.
Also heat is given as square of the current, thereby indicating that the conductor with low resistance will heat up more.
