State four properties of covalent compounds.

The important properties of covalent compounds are:
a) Substances with covalent bonds often exists in liquid or gaseous state with low melting and boiling points.
b) Covalent compounds are insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents.
c) They are non-conductors of electricity in solid, molten or aqueous state due to the absence of free ions.
d) Covalent compounds are unstable and they have low density.
