In this case light is travelling from denser medium to rarer medium 
Therefore on applying snell's law i.e.
mu subscript 1 S i n i equals mu subscript 2 S i n r 1.4 cross times 0.8 equals 1 cross times S in r S i n r greater than 1 comma space w h i c h space i s space n o t space p o s s i b l e
Hence in this case light gets completely reflected by the boundary.
