Expert Answer:

Dear student

(i) R = V / I  =  2 / 1 = 2 Ω
    Now R/l = 2/5 = 0.4 Ω/m

(ii) Resistance of 2m length of wire = 0.4 x 2 = 0.8 Ω

(iii) if the wire is doubled on itself ,new length = l/2    new area of cross-section = 2a
     so new resistance R' = R / 4 = 2 / 4 = 0.5 Ω

We hope this clarifies your doubt
