CBSE Class 10 Answered
Solve the pairs of equation.
x+y-3.3=0 and 2y-3x-0.6=6
Asked by sakhinafatma055 | 12 Feb, 2020, 09:18: PM
x + y - 3.3 = 0 → x + y = 3.3 .... (1)
2y - 3x - 0.6 = 6 → 3x - 2y = - 6.6 ... (2)
Multiply (1) by 2, we get
2x + 2y = 6.6 .... (3)
Adding (2) and (3), we get
5x = 0 → x = 0
Substitute x = 0 in (1), we get
y = 3.3
→ x = 0 and y = 3.3
