volume of displaced water = volume of sphere
volume of sphere = (4/3)×π×6×6×6 cm3
if r is radius of cylinder, volume of displaced water = π×r2×(32/9) cm3
since both volume are equal, π×r2×(32/9) = (4/3)×π×6×6×6 ....................(1)
from eqn.(1), we get r = 9 cm or diameter of cylinder is 18 cm
