In this case, since all the capacitors have the same capacitance value. Hence, if you carefully will notice, the current will equally divide across C1 and C2 capacitors and as a result, no current would actually flow through the C3 capacitor and hence, it wont be charged. 
 
So, the simplified circuit will only have C1 and C2 in parallel and hence, 
Ceq = C1+C2
Since, C1 = C2 = C
Hence, Ceq = 2C
