Sir, What is the difference between Argand Plane and Cartesian Plane?

Expert Answer:
Argand Plane is the complex plane ,where the complex number is represented.
We know,a complex number z is of the form z=x+iy,
Where x :real part of the Complex Number
y: Imaginary part of the complex number.
So,in argand plane ,the complex number is represented by plotting the real part versus imaginary part.It is also called as the complex plane.
On the contrary, the cartesian plane is used to represent a real number by plotting its x and y coordinate. It has x axis and y axis respectively to mark the same.
