Sir or mam..last time you responded to my question about velocity and said that velocity is speed with direction...i dont understand what does with direction mean?

Speed gives us an idea of how slow or fast a body is moving; but velocity gives us the of the direction of motion of body as well.
For eg, if the speed of a car is 10 km/hr, this means that the car travels a distance of 10 km every 1 hr.
It the velocity of a car is 10 km/hr towards north, this means the car travels a distance of 10 km every 1 hr in the north direction.
