Sir/Mam, I just wanted to know if we can change the order in the distance formula even in the board exam??? i.e. in the formula does it matter if v subtract x2 from x1 or x1 from x2??Is there any risk of losing my marks if I do dis????

Distance is a positive quantity and it cannot be negative.
Under the square root the quantity should also be positive.
Since square of any number is a positive quantity, the terms
are always positive.
Therefore, the order does not matter even if you change the order.
In board exam they will not reduce any marks for that.
