If a particle moving with a speed v changes direction by an angle θ,without change in speed than the vilocity of the particle can be represented by two vectors as shown
The velocity of the particle can be represented by two componets
horizontal component which is sinθ time original velcocity =v sinθ
and vertical component which is cosθ times the original velocity = vcos θ
