Expert Answer:
In an eye, the image is formed on the retina. The retina of an eye is just like the film in a camera.
The eye lid infront of the eye is just like the shutter in a camera.
The difference between an eye and a camera is that the focal length of the eye lens can be changed by changing its shape by the action of ciliary muscules, but the focal length the focal length of the convex lens used in a camera is fixed.
