sir, can you please explain me that how can i find exact north and south pole on a round shaped magnet without   magnetic compass   please give me full procedure in detail

Hi, 

The poles of the given ring magnet are opposite to each other. This can be found by freely suspending the ring magnet The North Pole of the ring magnet will come to rest in the North direction and the south pole of the magnet will come to rest in the South direction.

Plssss answer..... Assertion: Magnetic field lines never intersect each other. Reason: If they intersect, then at the point of intersection, the compass needle would point towards two directions, which is not possible.
