sir, can u tell me what are partial fractions??

When a number or expression can be split up into two or more parts which when added will recover the original number or expression are called partial fractions.
For example,
1/((x-b)(x-a)) will have partial fractions as A/(x-a) and B/(x-b) so that,
1/((x-b)(x-a)) = A/(x-a) + B/(x-b)
