Concave mirrors are used in torches and head lights of car.
In torches and headlights of car we have a lighted bulb placed at the focus of the concave reflector(mirror) , this concave reflector produces powerfull beam of parallel light rays. This powerful beam of parallel light rays helps us to see things up to a considerable distance at night.Thus serves the purpose of torches and headlights.
