sin (a + b) = 2 and cos(a - b) = 1
But as per your syllabus, you have values of trigonometric ratios for some specific angles as follows:
So, sine of any angle = 2 is not in your syllabus.
Hence, will consider sin(a + b) = 1
Thus, we have
sin (a + b) = 1 and cos (a - b) = 1
sin (a + b) =  sin 90 and cos (a - b) = cos 0
a + b = 90 and a - b = 0
a + b = 90 and a = b
a + a = 90
2a = 90
a = 45o and b = 45o
