Expert Answer
In the above cases, we have to move the decimal places to the right as many places as there are zeroes over one.
(a) 0.2852 x 100
Since there are 2 zeroes in 100, we move 2 decimal places to the right.
0.2852 x 100 = 28.52
(b) 1.919 x 10 = 19.19 (Since there is 1 zero in 10)
(c) 10.006 x 1000 = 10006 (Since there are 3 zeroes in 1000)
(d) 63.501 x 100 = 6350.1 (Since there are 2 zeroes in 100)
