Silver crystallises in fcc latice . if edge length of cell is 4.07X10-8 (ten to the power minus eight)cm and density is 10.5 g/cm3 .Calculate atomic mass of silver.

a= 4.07 x 10-8
density = 10.5 g/cm
z= 4 for fcc
 
atomic mass = ρ x a3 N/ z =  10.5 g/cm x (4.07 x 10-8)3 x 6.023 x 1023/ 4  = 107.9 g/mol
